Behavior Analysis
Stop wasting time on surface-level fixes. Discover exactly why your people aren’t changing—then remove those roadblocks with a proven diagnostic system.
Most change start with solutions before understanding the real problems. This Course gives you a diagnostic method grounded in behavioral science to find the true reasons people aren't changing.
You’ll use a proven method to identify the actual friction points behind behavior, and finally fix what’s blocking progress.
Most approaches address only half of what drives human behavior, leaving critical engagement barriers untouched.
People want to change but don’t know how. They lack the skills, knowledge, or habits—and training alone doesn’t fix it. This hidden gap wastes 37% of most change budgets.
Systems, tools, or culture work against the change. Leadership signals conflict with the message. Even well-intentioned people give up when the environment resists them.
Even if they know what to do, they don’t believe it matters, don’t feel confident, or just don’t want to. Change dies before it ever starts.
We didn’t invent new frameworks. We adapted the ones that already work—in healthcare, tech, and government—to help you fix what’s actually blocking change.
Instead of guessing, COM-B gives you a proven map to identify exactly which type of barrier—capability, opportunity, or motivation—is stopping behavior change. Simple. Powerful. Actionable
COM-B tells you where. TDF tells you why. Uncover the beliefs, norms, emotions, habits, and other factors that silently shape behavior—and fix the ones holding people back.
Diagnose resistance precisely using proven frameworks (no more assumptions)
Extract actionable insights from interviews and surveys using battle-tested question templates
Score and prioritize behavioral barriers systematically—across teams, change efforts, or user flows
Learn how behavioral frameworks are applied to real-world challenges — and how to do the same.
Challenge: Workers skipped steps in safety protocols—even after training—citing time pressure, team culture, and unclear consequences.
You'll Practice How to:
Use raw transcripts to uncover what’s really driving resistance
Code behavioral barriers using COM-B and TDF (without guesswork)
Spot patterns in attention, norms, goals, and capability
Segment barriers from facilitators in minutes with a structured codebook
Prioritize what to solve first—and why
Challenge: Despite training and clear benefits, employees continued to use old systems and routines.
You'll Practice How to:
Diagnose capability, opportunity, and motivational friction using COM-B
Triangulate findings using surveys, interviews, and system data
Analyze beliefs, norms, reinforcement, and time pressures
Create a barrier scorecard to focus interventions
Redesign the adoption strategy using behavioral insights
4 In-Depth Training Modules: Over 3 hours of video training that walks you through every step of behavioral analysis using real-world examples.
The Barrier Toolkit: Includes interview scripts, validated survey items, analysis worksheets, and COM-B + TDF cheatsheets.
Barrier Analysis Dashboard: A plug-and-play Excel tool to score, visualize, and prioritize behavioral barriers across different roles or segments.
Real-World Case Studies: See how teams in safety, digital adoption, and transformation used the system to uncover invisible blockers and drive change.
Implementation Guide: Take what you learn into your next strategy, change program, or product design session with confidence.
Bonus: COM-B Quick Reference: A visual cheat sheet that helps you identify the behavioral problem type in minutes.
The course will be comprised of 3 modules.
In the introduction part we will briefly discuss why we do an analysis and different ways of defining behavior and why it is important for you to diagnose the influences or drivers of behavior.
Module 1: Models & Frameworks
Understanding the COM-B Model and the Theoretical Domains Framework and how they compliment each other. I will show you how to use it to find the influences or drivers of behavior.
Module 2: Data Collection
Understanding the ways you can collect data for your analysis and how to develop your research materials.
Module 3: Data Analysis
In the last module we will look at and understand the different types of data (quantitative and qualitative). As well as understanding coding and the process and how to analyze your data.
Bonus: COM-B and Journey Mapping
Small example to teach you how to combine your behavioral analysis with a Journey Map.
After you have finished all the lessons in the Behavioral Analysis Course, you will get a certificate to show that you have completed the course.
Each certificate comes with its own unique ID, the name of the course, and the date it was awarded.
